It is reported that NUG Interim President Duwa La Shila demands the international communities who import jet fuel and sell military equipment to military council to stop doing it.
This was included in a speech delivered on the two-year anniversary of the formation of the National Unity Government (NUG) on April 16, 2023. The Acting President also seriously requested that international community would provide air defense system to the NUG government as soon as possible. On April 11th, Sagaing Division, Kantbalu Township, 40 children, 24 pregnant were killed in the air attack on Pazigyi village.
He added that a total of 168 people died. In addition, the NUG government is still facing huge challenges in providing military equipment to the PDF and local defense forces and providing humanitarian assistance to war victims.
Acting President Duwa La Shila said that the coup leader and his forces are committing the necessary crimes to be prosecuted at the International Court of Justice without impunity.
