On June 20th, the NUG’s Acting President Duwal Shila announced that, he attended the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) officer graduation ceremony.
The date and location of the graduation ceremony was not mentioned, but it was informed that it was held somewhere in the liberated area, and there were recorded photos of the interim president attending. Public defense forces from all over the country participated in the training, which was held somewhere in the liberated area. Also, on June 18, the Acting President posted on Facebook a photo of himself wearing a People’s Defense Army uniform and meeting PDFs.
Members of the National Unity Government, including the Acting President, have previously visited PDF camps and frontline battlefields, along with photographs.
