On January 22nd, rural rebel strike forces donated food to the people fleeing the war in Kani Township. Because the military council has been offensive against the villages in Kani Township, there are more than 20 villages that have fled the attacks and the number of refugees has reached around 2,000.
As the fighting has been going on for extended time, people fleeing the war have been leaving their homes for several days and are in urgent need of health care and medicine, including food.
