Sagaing Region, the local revolutionary forces have issued a warning to the people not to pass through Monywa – Mandalay Road because the military council is forming a column for offensive. In the morning of July 5th, Monywa – Mandalay Road was temporarily closed due to the formation of military council troops.
Ghost Team Ranger-MMU, based in Myinmu, has issued a statement saying that for the safety of the people do not use the road and those who do not comply will not be guaranteed for their safety.
The Area 71 People’s Defense Force said that the ban on the Monywa – Mandalay Road section of the Monywa – Chaung U road was due to the presence of military groups.
