Yangon Region. According to the locals two officers from the military council in Thanlyin and one person accompanying them were shot.
The shooting occurred near school No. 3 in Htan Pin Kone Ward, Thanlyin City. After the shooting, the army is said to be checking the entrances and exits of the city. It is said that there were casualties due to the shooting, but it has not been confirmed yet.
Due to the current situation, local people have been warned to be careful and avoid going around Thanlyin City as there may be arrests and tagging.
