It is reported that the Deputy Director General of the Union Election Commission was shot near Aung Yadana Hospital at 2:00 pm on April 22.

The Deputy Director General of the Union Election Commission office, who drove for his wife to the clinic and when retuned home he was shot near Aung Yadana Hospital, Thingangkyun Township.
