Duchon Dawi aka Moe Gyo who was in charge of the PDF battalion commander under the National Unity Government (NUG) of Kawlin District, and one of his assistants were shot and killed on April 26th when they were ambushed by the military council in a front line near Paypin chaung village in Kawlin Township.
In addition, officials of the Township People Administration Team (TPAT) and 6 others were also arrested and killed by the Military Council on April 27.
Sagaing Region The Military council propaganda news reports that 8 members of the KIA/PDF joint forces were killed, including 2 members of the KIA/PDF Battalion (1st Battalion) between the KIA/PDF Battalion (1) Major Moen Duchon Dawi and Kawlin PalaPha leader Global aka Ne Myo Win.
