Bago Region, Nyaung Lay Pin. On April 30th, around midnight the Ye Kyi River Bridge on Ma Dok Road, Nyaung Lai Pin was blown up according to the Nyaung Lay Pin Township Public Defense force.
The Nyaung Lay Pin Township Public Defense Organization announced that the bridge was the main communication link for the Military Council’s Shwe Kyin strategic camp, so it had to be strategically cut off. Highway drivers reported that until now, the bridge was unable used, and they can only travel through the roads in the village.
